Scroll (+5 tokenless protocols on Scroll)

Scroll is a Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum that utilizes innovations in scaling design and zero-knowledge proofs to build a new layer on Ethereum. The project recently launched its mainnet and successfully raised a total of $80 million in funding, primarily from Series A funding rounds, with notable investors such as Polychain Capital and Sequoia Capital, valuing the project at $1.6 billion.

Airdrops of 5-6 figures have been offered through other Layer-2 scaling solutions like Arbitrum and Optimism. Despite not having its token currently, the Scroll team has frequently mentioned plans to decentralize the network, suggesting a potential airdrop opportunity.

It’s essential to note that regular interaction with Scroll is crucial, with at least monthly engagement recommended, emphasizing higher transaction volumes for optimal participation. Here’s what you can do within a time frame of 30 minutes with a capital ranging from $100 to $1000.

Action plan:

  1. Bridge Funds:
    • Utilize the official bridge to transfer funds from Ethereum to Scroll.
    • Optionally, consider using Orbiter or Polyhedra for cheaper bridging from other L2s (Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.). Recommend using the official bridge at least once. Orbiter currently offers a campaign for bridging to Scroll.
  2. Use the Scroll Network:
    • Access SyncSwap and connect to the Scroll Network.
    • Swap ETH to USDC.
    • Add liquidity to the ETH-USDC pair.
  3. Utilize Ambient Finance:
    • Visit Ambient Finance and connect your wallet.
    • Swap ETH to USDC.
    • Add liquidity to the ETH-USDC pair.
    • Visit ScrollNameServices and consider purchasing a domain name (cost ranges between $10 to $500).
  4. Engage with LayerBank:
    • Access LayerBank and swap ETH to USDC.
    • Provide your USDC as liquidity.
  5. Deploy Contracts and Interact with NFTs:
    • Visit Merkly and deploy a contract on the Scroll network. Interact with your contract and deploy on zkSync if desired.
    • Utilize Polyhedra to move funds/NFTs between Scroll and other L2s or vice versa.

Hyperlane

With Hyperlane, developers can develop Interchain Applications that simplify interchain interactions and serve users on any connected chain.

The protocol is tokenless and has raised $18.5 million in funding. There are rumors that the interoperability sector will have significant growth in airdrops by 2024. Here is an action plan that requires 10-15 minutes of time and a capital of $100 (or more for larger volumes).

Action plan:

  1. Go to Merkly and connect your wallet.
  2. Mint NFTs and bridge NFTs between chains. You can also choose TurboBridge, which allows you to make many transactions in batches but is more expensive.
  3. Go to Neutron Bridge and connect your Cosmos wallet (E.g. Kelp) and EVM wallet (E.g. Metamask).
  4. Bridge TIA from Cosmos to Manta back and forth (You need to buy TIA from CEXs like Binance and withdraw it to your Cosmos wallet).
  5. More volume, more transactions, and more consistency will increase your chances.

Ambit Finance

Ambit Finance, a DeFi protocol backed by Binance Labs, aims to offer a user-centric platform across multiple chains. The project has raised $4.5 million in funding. The token has been confirmed, and the actions needed are pretty straightforward.

Here is what to do (Time: 10 mins; Capital: $100-$500):

Action plan:

  1. Go to Ambit Finance and connect your wallet (BSC chain).
  2. You will need some USDT on the BSC chain. Deposit above $100, preferably $500.
  3. You can deposit other assets as well, such as BTCB or BNB.
  4. Borrow USDT for maximum qualification (Optional).
  5. You can combine farming Ambit with farming Kinza: Deposit BTCB in Kinza, borrow BTCB in Kinza, Supply borrowed BTC to Ambit, Borrow USDT from Ambit, Supply USDT to Kinza.
  6. Be cautious of liquidations; do not borrow too much and be conservative.
